This flint lock will replace the large flint lock on the Traditions Hawken Woodsman, Mountain, Prairie, or Buckskinner Rifle from Spain. Note the curve on the lower edge of the plate vs. the standard Hawken lock.
Overall length 5-1/32” x 1-1/32” width. Right hand only.
This lock has thicker stronger internal springs and parts than the Traditions lock. It requires deepening the lock mortise slightly, a few minutes of hand work. Complete illustrated instructions are included.
We recommend that you order a dozen #FLINT-ENG-5 English 5/8" gun flints, too.
