A wide early design for a Jaeger, longrifle, or smoothbore fowler. This large sideplate will fit the R.E. Davis Jaeger, or Chambers early Germanic locks among others. Lock bolt holes are cast in place and can be easily drilled for clearance to accept a 8-32 or 10-32 diameter lock bolt. Overall length 5-3/8", height 1-1/16", thickness 0.085".
