This revolver has an antique patina finish and is stamped with CSA markings to replica a revolver used by the Confederacy during the Civil War. The patina finish on this revolver includes many small dings throughout, a dark patina on the brass, and a silvery-brown finish on the barrel and cylinder with a large drag line. The top of the barrel has been stamped CSA Schmeider & Glassick Memphis Tenn. in large font done with individual stamps, so it is not aligned. The right side of the walnut grip has 1864 crudely carved into it, and the bottom of the backstrap is stamped Carol. The .36 caliber 7-1/2" octagonal barrel is fitted with a bead front sight. A notch in the hammer serves as a rear sight. Below the loading lever the barrel is marked DGG, the initials of the owners of Armi San Paulo. The bore is bright and has been well maintained. The barrel and wedge have a small amount of play. This would require attention before firing, or it will make a good display gun, or accoutrement for your persona.
