Colt Sesquicentennial Model 1873 Single Action Army Revolver,
.45 Colt, 7-1/2" barrel,
blued, engraved, fitted wood display case,
by Colt Firearms Mfg. Co.

This Colt 1873 Single Action Army revolver commemorates 150 years of Samuel Colt firearms from the birth of Sam Colt in 1814 to 1964. This revolver qualifies for FFL transfer. It can be picked up by a Minnesota resident, or it must be shipped to a FFL dealer in another state.
The 7-1/2" barrel and frame are finished to a dark blue. The cylinder, triggerguard, and backstrap are nickel plated. This revolver is stored in a fitted wood case with 12 dummy rounds and the book The Arms Collection of Colonel Colt by R. L. Wilson. The cylinder shows a very small drag line on the lower third of the cylinder, but the blue finish does not appear to have any wear from shooting or cleaning.
The polished and blued frame is notched as the rear sight. The 7-1/2" barrel is marked Colt's P.T. F.A. Mfg. Co. Hartford, Ct. U.S.A.. The frame is the smokeless powder style frame. Depress the plunger ahead of the cylinder to with draw the cylinder pin and cylinder for cleaning. The blued barrel reads 1814 - Col Saml Colt Sesquicentennial Model - 1964. The plated cylinder is marked Col Saml Colt 1814 to 1964. The blued hardened frame is marked with the Colt horse below the cylinder. The grips appear to be faux ivory with a small inlaid Colt horse. A pair of rosewood grips with inlaid Colt horse, which we believe are original to this specific revolver are included (not shown).
Shown in the 15 by 9 by 3-1/4" fitted walnut case with purple felt lining, block of 12 dummy rounds, and book The Arms Collection of Colonel Colt by R. L. Wilson.
This revolver qualifies for FFL transfer. It can be picked up by a Minnesota resident, or it must be shipped to a FFL dealer in another state. Order it for a ten day visual inspection. You will be delighted. Else if it does not fit you, return it in unfired condition for same-day refund. Postage is your only risk, when you order any one-of-a-kind gun from Track, whether new, used, or antique.
