This reproduction pistol features a 9-1/2" tapered octagon smoothbore barrel that measures .41" caliber, but is marked 12mm at the breech, beech stock, percussion lock and iron furniture. Inexpensive pistols such as this were not high quality, well fitted, or well finished by any standards and were often imported as Christmas gifts by box stores during the 1970's. The barrel is marked Norbert Arizmendi EIG-Eibar, Spain on the top flat.
The percussion bar lock can be forced from the half cock position firm pressure and will drop the hammer. The bore is mostly bright with some scattered speckling. The breech is fitted with a 6-1mm threaded nipple. The stock has a small chip at the rear of the lock panel. The
