This sand cast triggerguard is an early Allentown-Bethlehem or Lehigh County style, as used by Neihart, Kuntz and the famous Rupp family of longrifle makers. Brass was almost always used on these rifles.
Overall length is 9-7/16", inside trigger bow is 2-3/8" long, and 1-1/8" deep.
