Thompson Center barrel assembly for T/C New Englander rifle, 54 caliber with 1 in 48" rate of twist, 26" barrel. The barrel has Thompson Center's QLA (Quick Load Accurizer) feature. The QLA is a relief of the rifling, the first inch of the barrel has no rifling, allowing loads to be easily started and quickly loaded. Percussion hooked breech with steel Hot Shot nipple for No. 11 percussion caps, underlug, rib, and ramrod pipes. The barrel is fitted with an aftermarket fiber optic front sight. No rear sight is fitted. Only one of the two rear sight mounting screws has a filler screw installed. Factory blued with minor handling marks. Used with a bright well maintained bore. No ramrod.
