This horn is finished with a warm brown patina on the body and a dark tip. The tip has a paneled end with raised strap ring, and transition to a Tansel style engrailed border to the horn body. The horn measures 13-1/2" around the outside curve from the tip to the end of the domed base, the mushroom finial adds about 3/4" to the overall length. Small iron nails through a horn band secure the base to the horn. A carved wooden stopper is fitted. Add a leather or woven strap and this horn is ready to go!
