This well made powder horn is the work of contemporary artists Scott and Cathy Sibley. This 13" horn is nicely carved with a raised neck with carved border and raised strap ring. The base is scrimshaw engraved Daniel Hutton, Scott and Cathy Sibley fecit 2013. The 3" diameter base is stained a deep red. A iron staple in the base and a raised strap ring on the neck provide attachment points to secure a strap. A hand carved wood stopper is fitted.
