This flask body is wet molded by hand, from 7-8 ounce oak tan leather, dyed a deep rich brown. The flask body is fitted with our adjustable brass English style shot charger head. The leather flask body holds shot quietly, unlike brass or copper bodies.
This shot flask holds up to 5 pounds of bird shot. We recommend the English charger head for No. 8 shot and larger shot sizes.
The brass English charger head has a quick cut-off gate operated by a side lever, which may be set to throw 1-1/4 or 1-1/2 ounces of shot. The flask has eyelets at the bottom and sides for a leather strap, included.
The brass charger head is easily unscrewed. Our English and Irish style brass charger heads and are interchangeable. Order an extra Irish head, and you can use both variations.
