Wax cast steel, this sight blank is made in the U.S.A. The dovetail is .360" long, .560" wide. Height from the bottom of the dovetail to the top of the sight notch is 0.50".
The base is a full .100" deep. We do NOT recommend cutting the slot .100" deep in your barrel. Cut a .050" slot depth (not over .062" deep), and allow the base to stand above the barrel in original fashion. Or thin the bottom of the sight to fit your .050" dovetail. Be safe.
