This small version is made for a longrifle with a slim 13/16" or 7/8" octagon barrel. Wax cast steel, this sight has a long base similar to our other Pennsylvania sight #RS-FG-14. However this sight height from the bottom of the dovetail to the top of the sight notch is 0.43", to allow sight-in with a tall front sight, and to reduce mirage and heat glare from the top flat, during shooting matches. A .750" dovetail is about .540" wide. Dovetail to a depth of .050", or fit to a raised dovetail.
