These locks were used on the late producion Sharon Barrel Company Hawken fullstock. The locks are clearly marked L&R on the inside of the lock plate, but are assembled with Siler internals. This lock would be appropriate for a Plains rifle, Ohio rifle, or late longrifle during the percussion era of 1845 to 1885. Note the square inside corner at the front of the lock plate, and the normal narrow percussion hammer, both late features. These have been in long storage and do have some scattered brown spots, which will polish off. We only have a few examples at this price.
