Our 36" straight octagon barrel blank is cut rifled with six lands and square grooves with a caliber appropriate 1 in 66" twist for a patched round ball. The muzzle is crowned. The breech is threaded 0.500" deep with a 3/4-16 thread for a breech plug.

As with any barrel the octagon flats will require draw filing. We can quickly install underlugs and sights, at small extra cost. See our gunsmithing service options. Allow three to seven days shop time, when you choose optional labor.
