This neck expander plug is .446" diameter, for loading lead .446" sized bullets, for a perfect fit without deformation, in .44-77 Sharps, .44-90 Remington, and similar .44 caliber cartridges.

We can supply .44-77 cartridge cases, cast bullets sized .446" with SPG lubricant, loading dies, bullet mold, bullet sizing die, and wad punch. New .44-77 cases are available with .090" thick rims, to correctly headspace in antique Remington Rolling Block rifles, noticeably improving accuracy. We can supply the correct .44-77 shell holder for .090" rims, or standard cases and shell holders for the Shiloh Sharps.

Use this neck expander plug in our #LEE-DIE-45-EX die body, with standard 7/8-14 threads, in your reloading press. This Lee neck expander die body is also supplied in our #LEE-DIE-4570 die set for the .45-70 Government.

You will also need our #DIE-44-COMPRESS black powder compression plug, to compress the powder and over-powder card to the correct depth, to allow hand seating your bullet, in .44 caliber cartridges.
