Wax cast steel, this sight blank is made in the U.S.A. The dovetail is .362" wide, .563" long.

The sight is .510" tall, from base to top. Thus, it will stand .460" above the top of the barrel, if set into the recommended .050" deep dovetail.

The base is a full .100" deep. We do NOT recommend cutting the slot .100" deep in your barrel. Cut a .050" slot depth (not over .062" deep), and allow the base to stand above the barrel in original fashion. Or thin the bottom of the sight to fit your .050" dovetail. Be safe.
