Wax cast steel, not polished, this sight is a reproduction of those found on H.E. Leman trade rifles. This sight is suitable for a long rifle with a 15/16", or 1" octagon barrel. This high sight reduces heat mirage, and tilt minimizes glare. Sight has a notch cast in the blade, which can easily be enlarged if necessary. Made in the U. S. A., dovetail to a depth of .050", dovetail is .372" long, and .563" wide with the edges chamfered as found on the antique rifles.
