This York County rear sight is modeled after one by George Shreyer. It will make a excellent choice for your next longrifle. Made in the U.S.A. from wax cast steel.
Cut your dovetail .050" deep, not more than .062" deep, .750" long, by .526" wide for 7/8" octagon, or file trim the edges to fit a 13/16" barrel.
If set into an .050" dovetail, the sight blade will stand about .340" above the top flat of the barrel.
