Fullstock rifles were made for the early westbound trade, by Henry Eicholtz Leman at his factory in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Leman often used plain maple, and painted the stripes. Choose your parts, order our full size plans for the Leman rifle, and build your own. The Leman fullstock trade rifle is an easy first scratch-building project. Butt end is about 4-1/2" x 1-1/2", not cut for buttplate. Drop is about 4-1/4" from sights. Pull up to 15".

This stock is not inlet for a lock, but is inlet for a 15/16" straight octagon barrel. The 7/16" ramrod hole drilled full depth, with a shaped forend. Butt end is about 4-1/2" x 1-1/2", not cut for buttplate. Drop is about 4-1/4" from sights. Pull up to 15". Hand inlet your favorite single or double set triggers. Lock panels are shaped, with no lock mortise cut. Hand inlet your favorite flint or percussion lock. This stock has a shaped forend, crisp lock panels, and straight cheek piece.
