Wax cast steel, not polished, this 3/8"" high blade is tilted backward, to reduce glare. Intended for longrifle with a 13/16" or 7/8" octagon barrel. Made in the U. S. A., the dovetail is approximately .750" long, base is .540" wide. Dovetail to a depth of .050", or works well in a raised dovetail. Height from the bottom of the dovetail to the top of the sight notch is 0.41".
