This small French Trade Knife has a 4-7/8" blade, and is nearly 9" overall length. The 1095 hi carbon steel blade is 1/16" thick, etched much like a damascus steel blade, except the steel forms a random pattern. The maker's touch mark RI is deeply marked on one side. The decorative scroll work below the edge is sometimes known as a Spanish notch. The curly maple scales are fitted with four small brass cutler's pins. It is the perfect size and style for use as a patch knife, for your longrifle.
