Our widest Hawken style buttplate, for large bore halfstock rifles. Styled like our classic late Hawken buttplate, but made wider to lessen recoil. Often used on fullstock Hawken flint or percussion rifles, which have our flat grip-rail triggerguard and sometimes carry a distinctive oval iron patchbox with "pineapple" finial.

Available in wax cast steel or brass.
