This factory Thompson Center barrel assembly is for a Pennsylvania Hunter Carbine. This barrel is .50 caliber, 21" long, 15/16" octagon-to-round barrel. This barrel assembly is offered as used, with a bright well maintained bore. The barrel's factory bluing is in excellent condition. The barrel is marked Thompson Center Arms / Rochester, New Hampshire .50 CAL. Penn. Hunter Carbine. This barrel pre-dates Thompson Center's QLA, and is rifled all the way to the muzzle. This barrel is fitted with Thompson Center's factory rear sight that is click adjustable for windage and elevation. The factory blued bead front sight is dovetailed directly behind the muzzle. The breech is fitted with a stainless steel nipple for No. 11 percussion caps. The ramrod pipe is fitted with a sling swivel stud. The factory wooden ramrod is fitted with blued steel tips and the rear tip is threaded to accept 10-32 cleaning and loading accessories. This barrel is ready to drop into your stock.
