This shotgun was apparently made to meet the requirements for a shooting event. It has very crude shaping and is not well fitted with inletting gaps. It has a well worn appearance. It has no provisions to accept a ramrod. The stock is square and bulky with glued in spacers on the buttstock. The 12 gauge Melot 36" barrel is choked to .700" at the muzzle. The bore is bright. Rib appears to be epoxied in place. Lock is a mule ear percussion lock that appears to be hand made, trigger is a L&R shotgun trigger. Sold as-is.
