This antique cape gun would make a nice display or decorator gun. The right hand barrel is a .38 caliber rifle barrel, the left hand barrel is a 13 gauge smoothbore. Both bores are very dark and rusty. The walnut stock has been spliced together on the forearm with a "V" joint and screws from both sides. The back action locks are unmarked and both fire easily from half cock. The hammers do not align at either half cock or full cock. The right and hammer has been bent to align to the nipples. The nipples are modern. We did not dismount them to check the threads.
