Blued steel with an internal spring, pivot pin, and elevation adjustment screw. The dovetail base is .348" long, .622" wide, .065" deep. The sight is 1.175" from the front of the base to the lower edge of the blade.
Used on Lyman's "Great Plains" Rifle, this sight is made by Investarm, Italy. A nearly identical rear sight was used on Jonathon Browning's Mountain Rifle. However, the base on this sight is too small to fit on that model.
