Triggerguard, French Type 'D' Trade Fusil , wax cast steel
Used on French Type 'D' trade fusils from 1730 until 1763, this triggerguard is unusual. Its finial was not made to match the Type 'D' buttplate's finial. Mount triggerguard with three pins, or two pins and one screw. Overall length is 10-7/16", inside trigger bow is 2-1/8" long, and 1-3/16" deep.
