Our pattern for this Child's Blanket Capote (coat) includes small (sizes 4 to 6) through large (sizes 12 to 14). This style features a traditional mid-calf length, with variations in hood tassels and fringe. Worn by fur traders, Indians, and soldiers.
This scaled down Child's Blanket Capote can be made of any medium or heavy weight blanketing. Our six (6) point Hudson's Bay blanket, or six (6) point Early's of Witney blanket, will make one adult size capote, and one child's capote.
