Round ball molds: These precision mold blocks are made in the U.S.A. and tend to cost a bit more than other brands. They are nice quality. Special steel alloy mold blocks hold heat, for even casting temperature. Steel blocks almost never wear out, if properly stored. Blocks are made in one size, cut with two cavities for small bullets, or single cavity for large bullets. Mold handles are sold separately.
We stock every ball diameter that Lyman makes, plus a few special sizes. And we often have a few of the older discontinued sizes. Call to inquire about other sizes, not listed.
Lyman Mold Handles: Steel handles attach to blocks with slotted screws. Hardwood handles provide a cool grip. Lyman handles are offered in two sizes: Small handles fit older Lyman small single cavity molds of .50 caliber or smaller. Small mold blocks are no longer made by Lyman. Large handles fit current Lyman molds, all of which are made using large blocks. And these fit older Lyman double cavity molds, and single cavity molds over .50 caliber, since they use large blocks.
