Called the small John Bivins triggerguard, this 1770 era Lancaster County style triggerguard was modelled after the work of the famous Isaac Haines, perhaps the most influencial gun maker in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The bow is shorter than our large Bivins style, plenty large enough for any double set triggers, but often used with our Bivins single trigger and plate.

It is most often used with our Isaac Haines, Lancaster County stock, pre-inlet for 38" swamped barrel. It is pre-inlet into our fully inlet stock for 38" swamped barrel, with shaped and pre-inlet forend.

Overall length is 9-1/4", inside trigger bow is 2-1/2" long, and 7/8" deep. Made in the USA, wax cast steel. However, brass was the traditional furniture used on Lancaster County longrifles.

Use our #PIN-3/32 steel dowel pin, through each mounting lug, at front and rear.
