Made with pride in the U.S.A. to meed the demands of today's shooters. Our 44" smooth bore fowler barrel is made for fullstock flint fowling guns, fusils, and muskets. The 20 gauge bore is .620" diameter, ideal for a patched round ball, or lead or bismuth shot with wads and cards. The tapered octagon breech is 15" long, with a wedding band transition to tapered round. It flares slightly at the muzzle. A 3/4-16 threaded flared tang plug with 1/2" thread engagement is installed at the breech.
Our 'C' profile 20 gauge fowler barrel has a 1.062" octagon breech tapering to a 0.91" just behind the wedding band, a.780" round waist, and flared to a 845" round muzzle.
As with any barrel the octagon breech will require draw filing and the round section final polishing. We can quickly install underlugs and sights, at small extra cost. See our gunsmithing service options. Allow three to seven days shop time, when you choose optional labor.
