Taps, high speed steel, 9-1.25mm thread

Only available in High Speed Steel. The common use for this tap is to retap a damaged 8-1.25mm nipple seat used on many Italian made replica rifled muskets.
Plug taps have three to five threads chamfered, to cut threads in a through hole, or to start threads in a blind hole, closed at the bottom.

Tap Drills are smaller in diameter than the screw shaft to leave enough metal to cut threads.

Tap Drill Size: for 9-1.25mm thread use a metric 7.75MM
