We have only one, acquired in a gunsmith's lifetime parts collection.
Made with a curved front trigger, this is a double lever double set trigger. It may be fired set or unset. However, it has no backlash adjustment, a separate feature sometimes confused with single or double lever design. With no backlash, you must set the trigger before you cock the lock. Available with two different length trigger bars. Many original rifles were made this way, to eliminate the need for a “fly” detent in the lock’s tumbler. We suggest using a lock with a fly detent, and we recommend adding a backlash screw, for convenience.
Trigger bar length 8-7/8", .368" width.
