This flared iron loading button fits our #RT-5-8-I iron tip for 5/16" ramrod, with 8-32 threads. The button end flares to 7/16" diameter, to fit .44 and larger bores. It adds 3/16" length to your ramrod.

Often used on Duelling Pistols and Kentucky Pistols, it makes loading easy, but can be removed to use an 8-32 threaded cleaning jag, patch worm, or ball puller, sold separately.
