This scrimshaw powder and priming horn set have cream colored bodies. The tips have raised lips to secure straps. The main horn measures 16" around the outside curve from the tip to the end of the wood base. The priming horn measures 5-3/4" from tip the base. An iron staple is fitted to the base of each horn. Small wooden pegs secure the bases to the horns. A carved stopper is fitted to each horn and secured with a braided sinew lanyard. The main horn is scrimshaw engraved with a setting man-in-the sun design, a heart with bird design, and with four birds, three fish, two fox, and a chicken. The priming horn is scrimshawed with a native hunter holding a spear and war club. A braided sinew strap is fitted to the priming horn. Add your own strap to the main horn and this set is ready!
