A replacement mainspring for your David Pedesoli Second Model Brown Bess lock. Commonly marked GRICE - 1762. The spring has a 3.54" overall length. Center of mounting lug to bearing arm is 3".

Early production Brown Bess flint locks were sometimes marked STOWE and a scarce flat faced version was marked FREDRICKSBURG. These early lock will require fitting to use this spring.

This mainspring can be fitted to your Navy Arms TOWER marked Brown Bess Musket, made by Miroku, Japan. That nice replica gun is always stocked in cherry. Now a discontinued "orphaned" model, Navy Arms no longer offers spare parts for their older Brown Bess replica. Some skilled gunsmithing may be needed to achieve a good fit.
