This black powder compression plug is slightly under .44 caliber, to compress the powder and over-powder card to the correct depth, to allow hand seating your bullet, in .44 caliber cartridges.

Ideal for loading .44-77 Sharps, .44-90 Remington, and similar .44 caliber cartridges. The length of the Lee die body limits the expander plug's use, in most reloading presses.

We can supply cartridge cases, cast bullets, loading dies, bullet mold, bullet sizing die, and wad punch.

Use this powder compression plug in our #LEE-DIE-45-EX die body, with standard 7/8-14 threads, in your reloading press. This Lee neck expander die body is also supplied in our #LEE-DIE-4570 die set for the .45-70 Government.

You will also need one of our neck expander plugs, to expand the case mouth to the exact same diameter as your lead bullet, to allow hand seating your bullet, in .44 caliber cartridges.
