This fine powder horn measures 19-1/4" around the outer curve. The neck is carved from a separate piece of horn and unscrews from the body to easily refill the horn with powder. The body of the horn is white and would make an excellent surface to scrimshaw engrave. The base of the horn has a turned ring. The domed wood plug has a cherry stain and measures 3" in diameter. The base of the plug has a wire staple for attaching a shoulder strap.
